Based on the motto `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (World as Family), Himgiri Zee University has been established for the vocationalisation of higher education which is national in character and transnational in jurisdiction. HZU has been Estd. Under Uttarakhand (Amendment) Act No.- 3 of 2011, & Recognised by UGC Under Section 2(f) of 1956 Act and has since become operational.
