According to Outlook ICARE MBA Rankings 2021, IIM Bangalore is the second-best management college in India followed by IIM Ahmedabad. QS MBA Global Rankings 2021 ranked IIM Bangalore at 35th place in World University Rankings for Masters in Management.

IIM Bangalore secured 35th position in FT Global MBA Rankings 2021, also the institute is ranked #3 in Top 50 Business Schools in 2020 Rankings by Economic Times.
